If you buy a one-piece California King, the size would be one bed, 72" x 84". The Dual King is 76" x 80" or 76" x 84". You are really buying two beds: 2 - 28" x 80" or 2-28" x 84". The 8 Step Natural Talalay ProcessMany of our clients select the 8-Step Natural Talalay Process over the Dunlop Certified Organic Process. The main reason is consistency and durability. The 8-Step Talalay process will keep your mattress lasting 20 to 40 years; but is not as "pure" as the Dunlop GOLS Certified Organic process. The Talalay process is an eight-step method used to create premium latex foam, known for its superior comfort and durability. It begins with compounding, where natural or synthetic latex is blended with additives. Next, the liquid latex is frozen in a mold to lock its cell structure. In the vacuuming stage, the mold is sealed and air is removed to evenly distribute the latex. It is then flash-frozen to stabilize its structure and ensure consistency. The mold is vulcanized or heated to cure the foam and give it its final form. After vulcanization, the material undergoes washing to remove impurities and ensure long-term performance. The foam is dried to eliminate excess moisture, followed by a final quality control inspection to meet rigorous standards before being sent to market.
